Salisbury Township, PA – Two Hospitalized After Horse-and-Buggy Accident on Churchtown Road (October 28, 2026)

Two people were injured and taken to a hospital Wednesday morning after a horse-and-buggy went out of control in the 600 block of Churchtown Road in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County. The incident was reported to emergency dispatchers at approximately 7:14 a.m. on October 28, 2026.

According to dispatch records, the buggy became uncontrolled while traveling along Churchtown Road, and both occupants were thrown from the carriage during the incident. Multiple emergency medical units were dispatched to the scene to assist the injured and to manage traffic in the area while the roadway was addressed.
