A vehicle and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Stone Mill Road and Columbia Avenue in Manor Township, Lancaster County, during the afternoon of November 6, 2026. Manor Township Police said dispatchers were notified of the crash at approximately 4:24 p.m. and officers were sent to the scene along with area fire and emergency medical crews. Manor Township sits immediately south of Lancaster city, and the Stone Mill Road and Columbia Avenue area carries a steady flow of local traffic throughout the day.
Responding units closed the intersection of Stone Mill Road and Columbia Avenue while they secured the area, attended to anyone involved, and began an initial examination of the scene. Multiple emergency vehicles were positioned at the intersection as crews worked, and the closure slowed traffic through the area for a period during the evening commute as personnel cleared debris and moved the vehicles involved out of the roadway.
One occupant involved in the crash was transported from the scene to a hospital for evaluation and treatment. The extent of that person's injuries had not been confirmed as of the time of this report, and no other injuries were reported in connection with the collision. Emergency responders remained on scene until all those involved had been assessed and, where needed, moved for further medical care.
Manor Township Police said the crash remained under investigation as officers worked to determine how the vehicle and motorcycle came to collide at the intersection. Investigators documented the scene, including the final positions of both vehicles, before the roadway was cleared. Stone Mill Road and Columbia Avenue reopened to traffic once crews finished clearing the scene and removing the vehicles involved, and the roadway returned to normal operation for the surrounding Manor Township neighborhoods.
A full crash report will be available from the Manor Township Police Department once its investigation is complete. Anyone with information about the collision, including any witnesses who observed the vehicle and motorcycle prior to the crash, is encouraged to contact the Manor Township Police Department.
